Police have charged a 25-year-old man with first-degree homicide of Cannon Hinnant after they are saying he shot and killed a 5-year-old boy final week in Wilson, North Carolina.
Austin Hinnant advised The News Observers affiliate WRAL he was inside the house when his son, Cannon, was taking part in exterior and was shot. Hinnant says he ran exterior and scooped up the injured baby and held him in his arms.
