After Katrina Kaif, Bollywood’s veteran star Madhuri Dixit joined the viral Pakistani dance trend with the classic song, Mera Dil Yeh Pukaare Aja. The said trend was kickstarted by the Pakistani influencer Ayesha, whose performance became the talk of the town overnight.
Her choreography and moves instantly went viral on social media, with Ayesha making her debut television appearance on Nida Yasir’s morning show.
Dixit took to her Instagram on Saturday with the song’s name as the caption. Clad in a heavily embroidered ivory saree, the Maja Ma actor looked breathtaking while swaying to the catchy beat of DJ Usman Bhatti’s remix.
While many in the comments praised her dance moves, some of her fans trolled her for copying a dance trend started by a Pakistani.
Dixit posted pictures earlier wearing the same saree for the popular dance show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’s finale – a show she has been judging for years on end. The sequin-embroidered seven yards draped over the veteran actor were from Indian designer Falguni Shane Peacock.
Dixit accessorised her look with a pair of dangling diamond earrings, a bracelet and a ring. Glam makeup, rosy cheeks and open tresses elevated her look.
Earlier this month, Kaif in a gorgeous ice blue saree swooned hearts dancing with a reel on the same song. The clip was supposedly taken after she attended a wedding ceremony in Jodhpur on Sunday, as she appears to be in the same attire and location.
As the Tiger 3 actor was not accompanied by her husband on the occasion, Vicky Kaushal was one of the first people to react to her new post.
